The Black Temple by Mohmed Tukur Garba

Mansir, a young man searching for riches and revenge, leaves his village for Lagos. There he joins a secret society whose connections are countrywide, whose members are drawn from all walks of life and whose operations range from smuggling to cold blooded murder. Mansir’s wife gets inquisitive and a shrewd police inspector becomes involved in solving the mystery of several brutal murders. Mansir decides it is time to extricate himself from the secret society, known to its members as ‘The Black Temple’.
